I thoroughly enjoyed the tasting, and did find it extremely useful. I was very pleased that you were able to include Birmingham in the tour, as - most of the time - Birmingham gets overlooked by the wine trade.

I was particularly impressed by the overall quality of the wines on show, and was only sorry that I did not have more time to get round to everyone.

My highlights were the wines from Antinori and the champagnes from Deutz. However, it's always a pleasure to renew my acquantaince with Michel Julien of Chateau Villerambert-Julien from the Languedoc.

I hope that the event has been a success and that it will be repeated next year.
